Dreaming of North begins with the Eve Blouse. Rather than filling this shop with countless garments, I want each piece to earn its place. My hope is to build a collection slowly and thoughtfully, adding only those things that reflect the beauty I have always imagined. Every design that finds its way here will be something I truly love—something I hope you’ll wear for years, not just for a season.
Much planning and thought went into the creation and design of this beautiful blouse. I wanted to create a timeless piece for the everyday woman, for every season of the year, and every season of life. Whether you are single, married, expecting, postpartum, or nursing, this blouse can go along with you through it all! It is frustrating when only a few things in your closet work for you at certain times and seasons. When I go through my closet, I want to wear something that I will feel beautiful and comfortable in all the time. The minute you put the sweet Eve on, you will realize that it is the exact staple piece you always know you needed, but didn't know existed.
I have designed her with a curved neckline and elastic bow (in Liberty Besty Ann Floral fabric) to cinch it in to your desired fit. The blouse hangs loose and free. I made the Eve long enough so you can tuck her in when you want to, but you never feel the need to all the time. The Eve portrays the romantic “puffed sleeves” that Anne of Green Gables envied so much, understandably, as does any girl in her right mind! They have a beautiful billowy cloud effect, and are soft and comfortable.

The Ivory Eve is made out of a beautiful 100% cotton voile.
These fabric weights are really what get me. I LOVE layering in the fall and winter, while wearing something light and free in the summer. I have always tried to use my closet in more ways than one, and that is what I had in mind when I chose the fabrics for my blouses. The Eve is perfect underneath vests, pinafores, aprons, overalls, but also light enough to wear on her own in summertime. I am always thrilled to own a gorgeous piece I can wear in more ways than one and I hope you are too!
SIZING
*I am modeling a size small here, except in the last two vidoes where you can see me in a medium and a large.
Small:
16" from neckline to hem
Up to 25" pit to pit, laid flat
Medium:
18" from neckline to hem
Up to 31" pit to pit, laid flat
Large:
20" from neckline to hem
Up to 33" pit to pit, laid flat
I fashioned this blouse in such a way that she would be extremly flexible in size. The small can fit from XS up to a smaller sized medium, and so forth. If you have sizing questions, you can reach out to me, and I can send you a video of how each blouse looks on me! Remember, this blouse is MEANT to flow loose and free for maxium comfort. This makes her perfect for tucking in and layering and also helps her fit multiple sizes and body types.
SHIPPING
Each one of my items is handmade to order, so expect an approximate two week production time before we send your item on it's way!
We ship worldwide! Shipping within the US is a flat rate of $15. International shipping is $30.
If you are located in the US, you can expect your package within approximately 3-5 days. For our international buyers, shipping time is generally about two weeks.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Each and every one of my items is handmade to order. Due to this, I unfortunately do NOT accept returns or exchanges unless the item arrives to you damaged, or not as described.
I ask that you consider the time and thought that goes into making each and every piece individually to understand why I cannot offer this service! If there is an issue with your purchase, reach out to me and I am more than happy to help.
CARE
I recommend hand washing these beautiful delicate garments. Pour a little detergent in a basin of cool water and swirl the garment around and then let soak for a few minutes, then rinse, wrap in a towel to wring out excess water, and then lay flat to dry.
Alternatively, you may machine wash on delicate cycle and then lay flat to dry. I do not recommend placing in a dryer.
Iron on low.
